Improved “InsureSign” solution by using PDF Tools AG products
InsureSign is the easiest way to get a document signed by the insured instantly, regardless of their location. The provider Advance Management Company aimed to reduce the overall size of the application and intended to increase the speed of their solution.
Application requirements
The PDF Technology that originally was integrated within InsureSign did not work properly and was too large to work efficiently. Advance Management Company aimed to reduce the overall size of the application and intended to increase the speed of their solution. Because of small-sized PDF Tools products and little or even no dependencies they integrated the PDF Form Filling and Flattening Tool, the 3-Heights® PDF Extract tool and the 3-Heights® PDF to Image Converter.
Customer benefits
With the replacement of the previous PDF Technology InsureSign ended up with a faster solution.
Insurance agents and their insurance holder’s benefit of a significant faster as well as location-independently PDF processing and downloading speed of all the different documents, such as policy endorsements, no-loss statements, or any other document.
Additionally by using the PDF Form Filling and Flattening Tool almost all kind of non-standard PDFs that couldn’t be used before can be processed today.
Implementation
When PDFs are “added” to InsureSign, the 3-Heights® PDF to Image Converter converts the PDF documents to images. These images are used to show the individual pages of a PDF to allow the end users to interact with the PDF documents. The 3-Heights® PDF Extract tool extracts the text and the PDF Form Filling and Flattening Tool searches the text for specific key words to know how to process the PDF. The generated data is subsequently used for further processing.
