High-performance creation and printing of PDF documents from the ERP system

Application requirements

Due to recurring problems when printing PDF documents from the ERP software MECHANIK 3000, INTEGRAL concept searched for a new simple API software to integrate in the existing application. Based on the excellent support they received from PDF Tools AG during the evaluation phase, and due to the wide portfolio of PDF software the company offers, INTEGRAL concept decided to implement the 3-Heights® components.

Customer benefits

By implementing the 3-Heights® products, the speed for creating and printing PDF files out of the ERP system could be increased almost four-fold, while at the same time constantly providing a more stable operating environment. INTEGRAL concept also profited from the extensive PDF knowledge and wide selection of products from a supplier who could answer any questions dealing with PDF technology.

The OEM licensing is uncomplicated and the license codes that INTEGRAL concept needs for printing and creating PDF files can be generated and delivered within minutes. The licenses are centrally administered in the MECHANIK 3000 application; only the PDF Producer must be installed on each workstation.

Implementation

The integration of the 3-Heights® PDF Producer and the 3-Heights® PDF Printer was accomplished quickly and effortlessly. The existing software was replaced with the PDF Printer API and the PDF Producer API. Immediately afterwards, PDFs could be created and printed from all modules in MECHANIK 3000.
