PDF Association - Founded in 2006 as the PDF/A Competence Center, the PDF Association exists to promote the adoption and implementation of International Standards for PDF technology. The PDF Association is a Category A liaison to ISO’s TC 171 SC 2, making it possible for members to review and comment on draft documents. Pdftools is one of the founding partner of the PDF Association and Dr. Hans Bärfuss Chairman of the Switzerland Chapter.
